SkyCabin boasts a mid-century style design, dramatic angles, floor-to-ceiling windows & an abundance of natural light - perfect for snapping your next ins-tagram worthy photos! The freshly renovated space comfortably accommodates up to four adults, with two luxuriously outfitted queen-sized beds, perfect to retire in after a full day’s worth of exploration—or relaxing! With a fully-equipped modern kitchen, you can indulge in the full culinary experience, complete with a well-maintained barbeque grill & outdoor seating area. With access to a gas stove, microwave, cookware, dishwasher, chef’s knives & essential cooking items, you can have fun whipping up creative meals from scratch. Upon waking, head downstairs and flip on the cozy gas fireplace while you curl up with a hot cup of jo, or take advantage of the flat-screen TV, where you can stream your favorite shows. From the keyless entry & digital thermostat to the boot dryer & full-sized washer/dryer, the details at SkyCabin will make your stay exceptional.
Other Details to Note
Most of our guests love the occasional sound of trains, which can be heard in the distance. However, we have provided earplugs on the kitchen counter for sensitive sleepers. We are located in the center town of skykomish. Please note, despite our drive way is little tucked away from the tree, we are close to the neighbors. It is not a secluded cabin. It’s regular residential lot in a small town. Smart TV: In the main living area, you will find a Smart TV making it easy to watch pre-downloaded movies or stream entertainment from your laptop or Apple device. We also have Roku TV, which gives you the option to sign in to your own account (or create a new one) to access Netflix, youtube, etc… Furnace: This is the main source of heat for the cabin, and can be controlled by the digital Nest thermostat (on the wall by the front door). If the thermostat appears to be off, simply reset the WiFi hotspot via the tablet (resting by the couch). For your convenience, refer to the instructions on the back of the tablet. Fireplace: If you don’t want the fireplace on, simply use the remote control to turn down the temperature as opposed to switching the fireplace off entirely. This is to ensure that the fireplace heat kicks in should there be a power outage that leaves the furnace without power. You will find the remote on the ledge of the wall behind the fireplace. Chef’s Kitchen: You will find a gas stove, microwave, cookware, bakeware, dishwasher, chef’s knives, coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, pizza cutter & wine opener. We also provide coffee, tea, creamer & sugar.

Accessing SkyCabin is easy & fuss-free. We have installed a keyless entry system and will send you your unique digital code prior to arrival. A 30-minute scenic drive west will land you at Family Grocer, in the town of Gold Bar, where you can pick up an assortment of grocery items for your stay. If you are coming from Seattle, we recommend stopping at the grocery store on the way.
